What are the Privacy Awards?
The state of privacy within web3 changes every year. New research papers, projects, demos, and events are delivered. We want to give the privacy community a voice & celebrate annual privacy contributions worldwide.
We ask leaders behind privacy protocols, enthusiasts, developers, researchers, and community builders to share their opinions on the year's crucial privacy projects, people, and events.
Our goals help privacy projects get a new audience facilitate community contribution to privacy knowledge sharing create a discussion around the annual privacy footprint.

The Awards Process
We use the following methodology during the nominations, voting and awards process
Nomination process: Any person can Nominate a candidate for any of the 4 categories of Awards this year, by answering the following questions:
1 - What is your favourite pro-privacy project/product of 2024? *Name one*
2 - What was the major news or key event regarding privacy in 2024? *Name two*
3 - What is the most exciting innovation (new research, protocols, or approaches) supporting privacy? *Name two*
4 - Doxxer of the year (any project, person, or organisation that sought to reduce privacy within the space). *Name one*

Note: if you are affiliated with a privacy project (work or invest in them) please name a different one, this will reduce the bias in our nominations and make the Awards better overall. We respect anonymity and privacy, we welcome submissions from all users including from anon/pseudonymous ones.
